Shou Wu Pian Combo - Higher Dosage (Hair Growth & Anti-aging) He Shou Wu

$11.50

Shou Wu Pian is perhaps the most well-known cure in Traditional Chinese Medicine for stimulating hair growth and countering the effects of aging. This formulation of Shou Wu Pian is comprised of a large dose of He Shou Wu (also known as Fleeceflower and Fo-ti in the US), plus the addition of complementary herbs. It has a higher dose per tablet compared to our other Shou Wu Pian, with fewer pills needed per serving.

He Shou Wu has recently become one of the trendiest supplements in the US, but it also happens to be one of the oldest remedies in Chinese medicine, and was popular among the nobility of Ancient China to promote vitality and longevity.

A 2015 study suggests that He Shou Wu, when administered orally, stimulates the growth of hair by targeting the FGF-7 gene, which encodes proteins specific to epithelial cell growth, thus creating hair growth. A 2020 study showed that it elongates the anagen growth phase and abrogates the effect of androgen in cultured human hair cells. Another study showed He Shou Wu compounds induced a greater increase in proliferation of hair cells than minoxidil (Rogaine). Research also shows that it has a positive impact on delaying the onset of gray hair.

A number of studies also confirm that He Shou Wu stimulates the body to produce several anti-aging substances, including superoxide dismutase, the most powerful natural antioxidant enzyme, which staves off the aging process. He Shou Wu has also been shown to repair DNA.

Along with rejuvenating hair growth and reducing premature gray hairs, many report Shou Wu Pian being effective for reducing lower back pain, strengthening bones and muscles, increasing energy, and invigorating libido.
