Update: “boosted” ginger jujube goji tea pastes with Reishi, Cordyceps, or organic San Qi + Codonopsis are available
Homemade small-batch 72-hour traditional ginger tea paste made with whole fresh ginger, jujube, goji berry, and black sugar—the longer the cooking time, the more concentrated the batch. A well-known immunity-boosting, inflammation-reducing, digestion-boosting, and anti-aging tonic according to Chinese medicine. It is a nourishing drink for everyday consumption, with fat-burning, pain-reducing, and anti-nausea benefits as well.
INSTRUCTIONS: To prepare, add about 1 tsp to a cup of hot water, adjusting more or less for taste. Stir to create an instant medicinal tonic! This can also be added to cold water, soda water, or even used as a condiment.
HOW TO STORE: 4 oz. glass jar (about 20-25 servings), vacuum-sealed to last up to a year unopened. Opened jars should be refrigerated and will last 3-4 months. Also available in larger 16 oz. jar.
Smaller batches prepared with pieces of whole (not powdered) Reishi mushroom, Cordyceps, or San Qi + Codonopsis added during the cooking process, are available as well. Note these are homemade in small batches and sell out often; there may occasionally be a short wait in between batches.
All ginger paste is processed in a facility that uses mushrooms.
