Cinnamon and Poria Combo - Guizhi Fuling (PCOS, Endometriosis, Fibroids, Varicose Veins, Hemorroids)

$10.25

Gui Zhi Fu Ling (also spelled Guizhi Fuling) with Wan, Pian, or Tang, depending on the dosage form, is an all-herbal formula prized for its powerful ability to support healthy circulation, and is the most widely used formula in Chinese medicine for PCOS and endometriosis, and for reducing uterine fibroids and polyps, varicose veins, as well as hemorrhoids. This is our version in small pill form (we also stock this formula in tablet form).

Studies show Gui Zhi Fu Ling possesses a strong anti-inflammatory effect and has the ability to improve insulin resistance. A recent study (2022) published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology also showed this formula “significantly ameliorated uterine fibroid-related symptoms and fibroid volume.”

This formula is named after two main ingredients, Guizhi or Chinese cinnamon, also known as cassia bark, which invigorates blood circulation and is one of the most prized herbs in Traditional Chinese Medicine for circulatory disorders, used both orally and topically in TCM for varicose veins. It also features the medicinal mushroom Fuling, also known as poria, which has powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties, as well as improving cerebral bloodflow and general blood circulation.

Chinese cinnamon strengthens the circulatory system, allowing blood to flow to the surface. Cinnamon is paired with peony root, which draws blood inward, strengthens venous return. Cinnamon strengthens circulation to stagnant areas of the body where varicose veins, hemorrhoids, or fibroids form, while peony root helps to recycle that stagnant venous circulation inward. Additionally, herbs like Moutan Peony bark and peach seed are added to break up stagnant blood, attacking the problem holistically from multiple angles.

Huang Huang, one of the most famous and revered TCM doctors in China, calls Guizhi Fuling, “nature’s aspirin” because it powerfully mitigates pain and promotes healthy circulation, which is why it so useful in PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, hemorrhoids, and varicose veins. Yet, whereas aspirin can have side effects, Guizhi Fuling preempts any side effects by building in herbal features that counteract the potential side effects of each component in the formula.
