Pure Tian Qi / San Qi Capsules (Radix Notoginseng)

$19.90

A formula to support injury healing, circulation, and heart and blood vessel health. The main ingredient in these tablets is San Qi, also known as Panax pseudoginseng or Radix Notoginseng, the most important military herbal medicine in ancient China, well-known for its ability to heal wounds, bruises, contusions, sprains, broken bones, and hemorrhaging--an in vivo study showed San Qi can heal wounds 1.5x faster.

San Qi has been shown in numerous studies to significantly reduce healing time—its saponins can dilate blood vessels, improve blood circulation, reduce blood viscosity, and have the effect of promoting blood circulation. It also promotes the proliferation of bone marrow cells and increases the number & activity of bone marrow red blood cells.

While many take San Qi for injury or post-surgery recovery, it is also taken more regularly for its ability to support overall health.

Tian Qi is the root of Panax Notoginseng of the Araliaceae family.  Another name for Tianqi is San Qi (Three-Seven) because it is believed that the best Tianqi should be harvested between three and seven years.  An earlier or later harvest of Tianqi will not be as efficacious, particularly in its hemostatic action.

USES OF TIAN QI

Tian Qi is an important herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine owing to its abilities to eliminate blood statis, reduce swellings and pain, and stop bleeding.  It is widely used in the treatment of traumatic injuries, various kinds of bleeding and in many emergencies. At home, Notoginseng can be used to make a drink that promotes the healing of minor scrapes and cuts. It also nourishes the blood and promotes metabolism in the elderly and weak. Hence, Tian Qi has come to be known as Jinbu huan, translated ad "cannot be exchanged for gold", due to its precious value.
