The 505 Shengong Knee, Lower Back, and Shoulder Protectors are made of 25-33 Chinese herbal medicine herbs such as Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, Sichuan Hyssop, Rhizoma Gastrodiae, Clove Flower Bud, Saffron, etc. The pads can have significant anti-inflammatory, blood stasis, and pain-relieving properties, improving the local blood circulation in the joints and the function of the joint. Clinical study 1: Clinical analysis of 505 Shengong shoulder pads and knee sleeves in the treatment of rheumatic diseases. The use of Shengong 505 shoulder pads and knee pads for 50 cases of rheumatism was clinically observed over 10 days for a course of treatment, with a total of two courses of treatment, along with gua sha scraping and hot compresses to accelerate the absorption of the herbs. The total effective rate after treatment was 98%, and it was concluded that the treatment had a significant effect on alleviating rheumatoid arthritis (shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle). Clinical study 2: Evaluating the effect of 505 Shengong knee sleeves on the knee using infrared thermography. The study was conducted on 16 patients suffering from knee arthritis (pain, swelling, limited movement), wearing 505 Shengong knee sleeves for one to two hours indoors under a controlled temperature setting. Researchers used HR-I type infrared thermography to record and extract the temperature and other indexes of the six relevant acupoints in the knee joint. The control groups were as follows: compared before and after the patients wore the knee sleeve; compared one knee which wore the herbal knee sleeve and one knee which did not. Researchers concluded that wearing Shengong knee sleeves can significantly increase local temperature and improve local microcirculation. This product is not vegan—one of its active ingredients is deer antler (note that deer are not killed or harmed in the harvesting of deer antler). There have been numerous studies, including double-blind, placebo-controlled trials, on the health benefits of deer antler. Instructions: Pull over knee, ensuring herbal pack is over the front of the knee. Make sure skin is clean before use. Can be worn overnight, or during the day. Can use on one or both knees. DO NOT HEAT. Product can be placed in a sealed plastic bag between uses.

Expiration: Efficacy of herbal bag is at full potency for 6 months from the day of opening sealed package. This product can be used for longer after but will have diminished potency.
