This award-winning herbal belt uses 59 herbs to help alleviate stomach and GI issues including stomach pain, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and promote circulation. Also recommended for prostatitis. Used throughout ancient China, similar products were called the “belly belt of longevity” during the Tang Dynasty. The belt modulates bodily functions topically via the navel acupressure point Shenque (also spelled Shen Que). It can be used by men and women of all ages, and has no side effects or toxicity. DO NOT HEAT—this belt is not to be confused with a heat pack.

Developed by Professor Lai Hui-Wu, this belt is the culmination of years of research and clinical experience, including case studies, medical literature, and court prescriptions across multiple dynasties.

There have been over 80 published clinical studies researching the efficacy of this herbal belt—some of these findings include:

(1) Observing the therapeutic effect of this patented herbal bag on chronic atrophic gastritis. From October 1993 to May 1994, 57 cases (including 14 cases in the control group) with chronic atrophic gastritis were observed for 6 months. The herbal belt had an effective rate of more than 70% in improving the symptoms and signs of chronic atrophic gastritis, including pathological changes in H. pylori infection. After wearing the belt, the side effects from medication were reduced, the course of the disease was shortened, and the healing was accelerated.

(2) Observation on the curative effect of this patented herbal belt on 62 cases of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease: Researched and analyzed the herbal belt on 62 cases of chronic uterine adnexitis in 33 cases, 12 cases of fallopian tube and ovary chronic inflammation, and 17 cases of adnexal mass and pelvic connective tissue inflammatory adhesion. As a result of the treatment, 36 cases were deemed to be cured, 7 cases were markedly effective, and 9 cases were effective, with an effective rate of 86%. Due to the special physiological location and characteristics of Shenque acupoint, the belt was believed to be beneficial to the absorption, penetration and transport of the herbal medicine within, and helps activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis, invigorate the spleen, and warm the spleen and kidney, and has achieved good therapeutic effects on chronic pelvic inflammation.

(3) Observation on the curative effect of this patented herbal belt on chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcer: Researched and analyzed the clinical treatment of 20 cases of chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcer disease with the herbal belt. The total effective rate of the wearing bag group was 86% after 4 weeks of treatment.

There have also been well as other studies of topical remedies on the Shenque acupressure point. This herbal belt has been honored with 136 national and international awards, including the gold medal at the 41st Eureka in Brussels and the State-Level Spark Award, the highest honor in Chinese scientific circles.

This product is not vegan—one of its active ingredients is deer antler (note that deer are not killed or harmed in the harvesting of deer antler). There have been numerous studies, including double-blind, placebo-controlled trials, on the health benefits of deer antler. One study summarized that it has “anti-stress and anti-aging properties, as well as significant efficacy in improving various bodily functions such as hepatobiliary, cardiovascular, immune system, endocrine, hematopoietic action, and glucose metabolism.”
