One of the most frequently prescribed and well-regarded classical formulas in Chinese medicine, Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan was created during the Jin Dynasty by Dr. Li Dong Yuan (Li Gao) and first appeared in 1274 AD in his book, Nei Wai Shang Bian Huo Lun. It is also a formula that has been extensively studied in recent research trials, with significant results versus placebo.
This all-herbal formula is used in Chinese medicine to support better energy, digestion, and more, and is also used as a general wellness supplement for immunity and anti-aging. It's regarded as an excellent general formula for those who frequently find themselves tired and lacking energy.
Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan contains a variety of adaptogenic herbs with demonstrated anti-aging effects, including its main ingredient Astragalus, an herb that has long been used in TCM to increase stamina, strength, and vitality. Recent clinical trials have shown that Astragalus can lengthen or rebuild telomeres to reduce signs of aging at the cellular level.
