Yang Cheng Brand Die Da Wan (Injury Healing)

$6.50

This is a popular remedy (known as Die Da Wan in Mandarin, or Tieh Ta Wan in Cantonese) to help the body heal and recover after injuries (and is especially popular with martial arts athletes), and is a must for a Traditional Chinese Medicine first-aid kit. This high-quality formula promotes the healing of bruises, sprains, fractured/broken bones, and wounds, and improves the circulatory and nervous systems.

One of its main ingredient is San Qi, also known as Panax pseudoginseng, an herb well-known for its ability to heal cuts and hemorrhaging--an in vivo study showed San Qi can heal wounds 1.5 times faster. This also contains herbs like Angelica sinensis, Frankincense, Turmeric, Myrhh, and Platycodon. Full list of ingredients is available in the second image.

INSTRUCTIONS:
The medicine comes inside a wax-sealed ball that must be cut open. To take, slice herbal medicine into tiny pieces and roll into balls. Swallow with warm water. You can also chew into the ball directly, although the herbs can be quite bitter so most will find the first method easier. (This formula can also be used externally by dissolving in 2-3 oz of clear, high proof alcohol such as vodka over 1 or 2 days and applying directly to the injury.)

For injuries, take 1 ball a day (half in the morning, half in the evening), ideally for 3 continuous days. For minor injuries, take 1/2 a ball a day.  If using topically, dissolve in clear alcohol and apply daily.

Do not take if you are on blood thinners.
